We purchased a beautiful, but tired 1903 Edwardian House with an overgrown garden and realised we needed expert help to restore this property.

We are fast approaching our 8th anniversary with Katherine Richards Design and what a journey it has been. 

​

There is so much more to interior design than the TV programmes lead you to believe and we are fortunate to have found an expert who has guided and supported us through the myriads of choices.

Our clients wanted a seamless flow of colour and style throughout their home, and Katherine Richards expertly curated the colour schemes, handle finishes, and furniture to achieve just that. While kitchen design isn’t our primary focus, we’re always enthusiastic about collaborating with other talented designers to bring the complete vision together beautifully. ​

Working with Katherine on any project from project management to choosing a sofa or door hinges, is truly an experience you own.  

​

She worked closely with our 10-year-old son who wanted to take the lead in designing his own suite of rooms. As parents we were able to step back and watch his imagination come to life. Katherine listened, nurtured and guided his enthusiasm and the result, a set of rooms he absolutely adores.  It is a space he owns and loves living in and delights in showing his friends.

Our project will take a few more years to complete and we are constantly adapting our approach as we come to understand the property. We are highly appreciative of the skills Katherine Richards brings.
